For those interested, I purchased this week two recently launched but extremely useful and practical items for my DA62.
The first is a MultiSump Fuel Tester - by tipping the first fuel sample catchment container taken from a respective fuel tank, this falls down into the main catch cup reservoir, allowing you to move on to the next fuel tank. The sampling capacity is 8 fuel tanks.
The second is the MultiSump fuel strainer. The micro-fine stainless steel screen removes contaminants and water from fuel samples during pour back to fuel tanks. The high surface tension of water keeps it from passing through the screen while fuel passes freely.
I was always reluctant to put fuel samples back into the tank but this is a brilliant environmentally safe way of returning the samples taken.
