Russ:
That is not correct. The oil sample report includes all tracked wear metals. Some owners have been getting reports just indicating AL wear since this is a hot issue at the moment. The full report is available on request from Spectro or from your service center.

In the past SPectro did not supply reports unless there was an issue. That is no longer the case. Al...

Indeed it can be now the SB is released. We have done one in our shop and and it is somewhat invasive but doable. Thinking about a DA62 at some point. Anybody have any data on how much extra speed or benefits to upgrading to the NXi system, assuming it can be upgraded? [/quote] Hi! I was told that t...

Re: DA40 vs DA42
I can't be sure, but I am unaware of that configuration in the US. Jeff may know better. The last time I asked for WAAS was when they were at OSH a couple of years ago. At that time the told me that they wouldn't certify WAAS without the GFC700 in my plane and they wouldn't certify the GFC700 in my...

Re: My Attempt to Get my Multi-engine Rating
This topic was discussed in this link. http://www.diamondaviators.net/forum/#p45048 Colin: nice story; thanks for sharing. I'm sure you'll do fine on your re-test. My wife is currently training to get her CMEL in our DA42. And I was signed off by my instructor 3 weeks ago to take the Multi-Engine In...
