Re: Rear Hatch / Light Assembly

Thank you Chris - I took a look at the assembly and I believe the front clip is not engaging fully. Possibly will need a new assembly. I appreciate the advice on the alternate DAP product.

Re: Factory Work

I had a heavily damaged rear door that was refurbished by Xu Aviation at London, Ontario this past summer. The lead time at Diamond was 6-8 weeks and they recommended Xu Aviation which is a Diamond Service center. Work was 2-3 weeks and the door looked like new when it was finished.

Re: MT prop overall

My MT prop with 600 hrs since OH is starting to emit a fine grease spray as previously described in this string - so I am looking at resealing or OH. Does anyone have any recommendations on NW Propeller in Puyallup WA?

Re: AOPA fly-in - Spokane (8/16)

It was my own fault - did not properly secure the aft door and it separated just before rotation. The door did not hit the plane but was substantially damaged. It was amazingly easy to make this mistake.

Let me know when you would like to meet and where - I am open.
