Re: What EIS is best for DA40
Thanks all. Read both threads. Think I will go with the SureFly, no time advance. Will have to ask about the new higher voltage units

What EIS is best for DA40
I’m up for mag overhaul. Wondering what the best EIS options are for a DA40. Also what are costs for anyone that’s done them.
Thanks

I did the 345R, cost installed $9500.
A quick question, how do I increase the traffic alert volume? I’m sure it’s simple, but all the volume knobs don’t seem to do it.

Very Nice. Those look a lot like the Coopers Cabin Craft ones in the UK. Did you use those as reference or did they just happen upon a nearly identical design.

Im sure if the 5K unit wasn’t enough for the vans here in AZ where we spend weeks at 110+ it would be too wimpy for sure.

Re: Real A/C in my DA40
That’s awesome. I’ve been tempted to do that very thing. I live in AZ so 30-40% of the year it’s nearly impossible to fly after 9 am. A couple questions. 1) What was the total cost? 2) Any worries about blowing hot air into the tail section of the plane. 3) Did you have to drill a hole for the conde...

Re: ForcedAeroMotive: SuperCharged DA40
I was very interested in this, but the costs have spiraled out of control. I called a couple years back and was told it would be $20K. Called the other day and now it’s $30K. Id drop 20 on this in a hear beat, no though necessary. However $30 has me thinking again. I don’t blame forced aeromotive fo...

Re: Prop strikes with hartzel composite
What prop options are available on a 2008 XLS, i'm being told the metal hartzel is not an option with power flow.
Also any recommendations on where to buy the package to change props, and also pricing people have paid or been quoted and when that was.
