Thanks, Dave. I expect you’re correct that many Comandancias and Mexico City might be converging on the new procedures.

Re: Annual frustration

I agree with the suggestions to use Savvy. You describe yourself as not mechanically inclined. You really need an advocate that has deep knowledge of the maintenance business and of aircraft maintenance in general. Less is more in aircraft maintenance but that is obviously counter to profit making....

Re: G1000 dead end (split from G1000 NXi Phase III)

I've flown ~40 hours behind a G3X/GTN/GFC500/G3X panel (Sling TSi)... the G3Xs are Touch each with very flexible options for split screen. A FAR superior panel to either G1000 or G1000 NXi!
If available via STC I'd upgrade a G1000 panel posthaste to the G3X-Touch.

Re: Diamond DA4X, 50, 6X stabilized approach criteria

Patrick, I really (really) like your FlySto.net !! Graphics and user interface are MUCH better than CloudAhoy. At first glance I'd expect your parameters for the DA40 NG are quite reasonable... for the DA40-180 it seems that the IAS values would be say 5-to-8 knots less than the NG. Keep up the exce...

Re: Fueling Questions

My 2008 DA40 has a grounding tab just inboard of each step. On refueling with the 50 gal extended range tanks... start slow so the fuel at the beginning is flowing nicely from the outboard 5 gallon tank into the inboard 20 gallon tank. After say 30 seconds you can gradually increase the flowrate... ...
