my cap is the second one, and I was told that the reason to be directed forward is to create a small vortice to clear any puddle of water that might be deposited in the cap because of rain.

Any Update on which coolant can I use on the Austro engine. BASF Glysantine G48 I cannot find it in USA. And Germany would not ship it to USA. I keep asking Diamond but they keep referring me to BASF.

We finally resolved the mystery. the culprit was an erratic boost pressure sensor on one of the engines. Definitely the AE300 wizard helped a lot. Working with the Diamond representative we saw the data of the logs and we find that one of the engines was not reaching the operating pressure for 100% ...

The problem is making me nuts. After going through a long list that Austria send us, the shop could not find anything wrong, they update the ECU software and clear all errors and the followings flights went without a problem. But that change yesterday, while returning from Aruba just after lift up. ...

Update, the Data from Austria came yesterday. in Summary, LH a boost pressure failure and the RH a fuel pressure failure. On both engines Austria recommend several items to check, perhaps the LH is due to the recent waste gate control rod bulleting, that was not properly adjusted. The RH failure is ...

Comparing the photo with one of the micros on my DA42VI, it seems to lack a tye-rap that secures the cable to the assembly. I believe that by securing it, the cable does not lever against the micro switch when in transit

I had the same problem once, although it was intermittent, (not on every flight), it was resolve by adjusting the sensor (i think it is a micro switch) on the back door.
