I assume that you probably tried Hope Aero out of Toronto. They are pretty good at scrounging stuff not sure about the Hoffman prop but they do carry some oddball stuff.

I will take a stab at it. With 15,000 hour Da20's we get fore and aft play here. The bolt that holds your stick to the rest of the system has a fibre lock nut holding it tight (#60, 70 and 80). Replacing the bolt and proper torque of the nut will usually take the play out. This would be a short term...

On the C1's normally there is a stop on the fuel injector that you want to hit before you hit the stop in the cockpit. You should feel a little bounce when you push the throttle to the max in either direction. The stops for full throttle and for idle are located on the engine and not in the cockpit....

The DA20 has a flap overspeed inspection in the Maintenance Manual chapter 5 unusual occurrences. Not sure if the DA40 does but my guess is probably. It should give you a good baseline of where to look.

Normally what you would do is bend the tab in the direction that you want the wing to go. The DA 20 normally has a tab only on the left aileron. If you have a plane turning to the right then you would want more up aileron on the left wing to counteract the turn. Thus you would bend the tab down. If ...
