Price just reduced, asking $324,700 now.

Also, a fresh annual was just completed last month (Feb 2024) by Premier at FTW.

Re: Rear Door departs a DA40 after takeoff

I've heard the same thing, let the safety latch do it's job and keep the door closed. Pushing the door back down or messing with the handle will likely disengage the safety latch and result in the door opening and departing. Part of my preflight briefing is to instruct passengers not to touch the ha...

Re: Flap issue now!

I purchased the official Diamond part back in 2016 and the Diamond PN was 159-4629, cost of $15.60 ea.
IIRC, all 5 are the same switch but some are wired to the NO contact and some to the NC contact.

Re: Path to ADS-B & WAAS for older DA40s

Regarding your second question Bryan: As discussed in a previous thread on this forum, the FS210 is compatible with the GTX345R. As I’ve had this combination since the winter of 2016 and most likely I am not the only legacy G1000 / Diamond owner who is flying with this setup. Though this may requir...

Re: Da40 Gtx 335R install

Do any members happen to know whether the da40's that dont have a gdl69 still have the shelf that is used for the antenna in the tailcone? I don't remember the specific details on the "shelf" but IIRC, for my GTX345 install they said they installed a GPS antenna in the position that the G...

Thanks. Did you also have the annunciator light but with no indications of volts/amps issues or did your volts or amps also show a problem?

Alternator Annunciator but Volts/Amps normal

On the past two flights, I've had the red "Alternator" annunciator appear on the G1000 PFD but the amps and volts remain normal with no discernible dips or oscillations. (28.5V & ~+11A) The issue first occurred on a flight in cruise. No circuit breakers were tripped and cycling the alt...
