G1000 Engine Instruments Red X on power-up
I am getting red X's for all of the engine instruments upon G1000 power-up, prior to engine start. The problem has been intermittent over the last several flights but is now much worse.

There is no lag or delay in activation for the electric trim on my airplane either. Steve gives a good list of suspects and I have a couple of comments. Fortunately I have a KAP guru nearby at KHYA (Griffin Avionics). Other shops in the region will often defer to them for issues.

Just bought a B4 for my DA40. I have only used it once, but wow it worked great. I justified it based on ease of use and wing clearance. Damage a wingtip and the price difference evaporates. I have a 2004 with KAP140 and GIA63W upgrade. I get more precise glideslope tracking with ILS than LPV which can wander, getting worse as I approach the runway.
