Re: Outdated Garmin G1000 software - petition sign-up

Re: Outdated Garmin G1000 software - petition sign-up

It is what it is gentlemen. At some point in this discussion you must accept the reality of the situation and move on. Diamond is not going to change. You have plenty of Diamond’s behavioral history to support this. The wall is not going to move the more you bang your head against it. You’re just g...

Re: Folding Electric Bikes

My wife and I have Brompton’s. They are truly incredible bikes. Way to many positive attributes to get into here. They are the only foldable I would ever consider. But, why would anyone want a self propelled portable? It kind of goes against the whole point of having a portable fold up bike.

Re: DA62 down in Dubai

Question: How does it take four people to calibrate navigational aids in a DA 62 and what instruments would those be?

Re: DA50 base MSRP Guesstimate

Customer support is the 800 lbs. gorilla in the room. Diamond shows nothing that I would consider substantial definitive progress in that direction. When you have customer support everything else will follow. Until that’s there, forget it. Nothing else will help.

Re: New Waste Gate Controller AD for AE300

It still seems like a really difficult way to fix a really simple problem regardless of who’s making them, how many were made, or where they come from especially considering how critical failure is when it happens. A 250 hr.recurring AD for a part this critical yet this simple would not give me the ...

Ok,I can buy that to a degree. However, why cable and not solid rod? In addition, there comes a point where redundancy is a non issue.

Re: New Waste Gate Controller AD for AE300

I don’t quite get it. Why not just design a more robust control rod rather than go through the complexity of cables and clamps that really looks like a Mickey Mouse back door fix than anything permanent. It kind of looks like a design fix by committee. A really big committee.
