Re: DA20 Autopilot Available

Hi, Do you have an idea of how much you want for the parts? I have one of the 29 planes with the STec30 installed (N146DR). My AP has never worked properly as it tends to wander, but I haven’t really worried about it. I suspect it’s the controller which is part of gauge in the dash? You can PM me yo...

Re: Plane pulls to the right

You should also check the alignment of your flaps. I had a similar problem but turning to the left. My AMO turned the actuator bolt out half a turn on the left side IIRC and that cured the problem.

Re: Landing gear vibration

Have you tried tightening the bolt that holds the castoring arm onto the gear leg? If it’s too loose the wheel will shimmy.
The maintenance manual gives a description of how much the bolt must be tightened.
The nose wheel should not turn on this bolt too easily when you drop the tail.

Re: NLG Replacement Rubber

Steve Spot on Steve, I also got my pucks from Berger Tools, well worth the effort. They even machined the pucks down to the correct th...

Re: Dynon SkyView HDX now certified for C172

If Dynon ever gets around to certify this for steam gauge DA20-C1s, I think I will pull the trigger. Apparently this will cost 20k$ plus installation. Well worth it in my humble opinion. https://www.dynonavionics.com/certified/index.php Just had a look at the Dynon site the price for the STC is $2K...

Re: Flap control module lamps

I thought I had the same problem, pulled the unit but avionics company couldn't find the fault. Put it back & the unit eventually started working again? I subsequently discovered that if the cabin lighting is switched on the led's dim to the extent that they can't be seen in daylight & that ...
