Trainer seems to be an emulator of nucleus os used on g1000.

We use KAPC (Napa), its a little bit out but you dont need to deal with SFA bravo and on most days its clear of SF fog. They have car rental at FBO.

After a conversation with Garmin field support the unit is going for replacement ($700). They told me it has happened in the past and they are not sure what causes it to happen. Will report once I get the replacement next week.

Wondering if anyone has seen this. Transponder would not stay ON or GND/ALT for more than 3 seconds and would go back to STBY by itself. After that Alerts window shows "XPDR1 SRVC – XPDR1 needs service. Return unit for repair." After a while message goes away. After power cycle everything ...

My only issue is that POH contradicting with the engine manufacturer recommendation. One of them is correct, just trying to follow the right procedure, thats all.

Great find thank you! But this very letter states left of the text you quoted: " TO DECREASE POWER —first, reduce throttle, reduce RPM, and then adjust mixture." So DA40 POH is not complete by just stating 2400 and full power. according to this pressure should come back first then RPM and ...
