Re: Diamond Aircraft Owner's Seminars/Panels/Training/Fly-ins?

As new Diamond pilot, I would be very interested in such a talk or gathering in Livermore too. COPA is a great community and it's very hard to replicate their educational arm--COPA University--and social activities. But actually Cirrus Aircraft does NOT have any substantial sponsorship of COPA even...

Re: ADSB Out - skyBeacon is now available for order

Recently spoke with Hayden at uAvionics in detail about the prospect of a skybeacon-like device for the series 600 (?) Whalen lights that are on DA40, Cirrus Sr20/22, and many other certified a/c. He said he was very interested in this cohort of aircraft but said it would likely be Q1 2019 before a...

Re: ADSB Out - skyBeacon is now available for order

I am considering this option also for my DA-40. I realize position lights at required equipment for night operation but must you have forward and rear facing lights? Most aircraft just have forward facing. Look more carefully. The white rear position light(s) may not be on the wingtips, but there w...

ADSB Out - skyBeacon is now available for order

I've been waiting for uAvionix's skyBeacon as a more affordable solution to ADS-B out for my aircraft. I just received an email from them that it's available for order and shipping in August. I can't wait to get the unit. It will replace the strobe and left position light. https://www.uavionix.com/p...

Looking for a used glareshield for DA40

Does anyone here know where I can get a used glareshield for a DA40?

The previous owner took it off a few years back and cannot locate it. I'd like to get a replacement unit reattached to the plane.

Thanks!

I have been getting mixed messages about Camguard. Can you share if your oil burn has improved since you added Camguard?
