Re: Autopilot/Electric Trim Circuit Breaker

Just push it over the CB and it will expand and fit tightly.

The red ring was delivered with my DA62 but good to show for those who did not receive same.

Autopilot/Electric Trim Circuit Breaker

In the, hopefully, unlikely event of a runaway Autopilot or Electric Trim which does not disengage for whatever reason using the red AP Disconnect button, you are left with no other option but to pull the circuit breaker. There may be very little time available and, therefore, to INSTANTLY recognise...

Re: iPad Mount Options

I promised to send a photo of my new 11“ iPad and DA62 factory fitted Ram mount. The position is just perfect and does not obscure either outward vision or the circuit breakers.

In addition, Flight Calibration Services of the U.K. only operate DA62 and Piper Chieftain aircraf...

Multi Sump Fuel Tester & Fuel Strainer

For those interested, I purchased this week two recently launched but extremely useful and practical items for my DA62. The first is a MultiSump Fuel Tester - by tipping the first fuel sample catchment container taken from a respective fuel tank, this falls down into the main catch cup reservoir, al...

Re: Austro Engines

If I understood correctly when in Weiner Neustadt recently, Austro now holds the licence from MB to manufacture the subject engines. As quite rightly pointed out, to deviate would require recertification and all that this entails. There was no concern shown with regard to this development.
