Re: For Sale: 2023 DA62

Great looking aircraft...very close to my scheme as well! More than reasonable price for someone not wanting to wait.

Re: DA62 on order or recently delivered?

Just a heads up for any Canadian orders: they cannot do the 6 seat with reclining seat option yet. Don't get your hopes up. Guess it's only an Austrian factory thing. Can a customer in North America order a DA62 with six seats from Austria? I did. Supposedly the first in the US (or at least first w...

Re: Business configuration (STC 62-002)

now u might need a 20 kg drumbell in the front assuming u have AC... gL with that. tbh. 4 seater is totally enough. having 6 seat... the last 2 row barely can seat as its so small and cg shift backward the middle row with 3 seat, is already hard to sit with 3 people tbh. its similar to sitting on a...

I'm 62.288 so further up the assembly line. No idea if there'd be any paint on it yet, but I went with the Light Sunset Orange over Anthracite.
The orange is where it's at! Waiting on 62.302.

BTW, your plane with black props and spinners is gonna look great!

Re: Business configuration (STC 62-002)

So it is possible to get a 6 passenger setup with reclining seats in the middle row? If so, that's great news. Any word on weight difference? Apparently my order will be the first one out Austria for the US. Not seeing anything specific on the empty weight change but would assume the total useful l...

Re: DA62 on order or recently delivered?

An update on my delivery. Was scheduled for the ferry flight from Austria on Feb 12th. When I requested pictures I noticed something wrong. I ordered the airplane with black props and spinners, but silver ones were mounted. Apparently this is their first install of the new interior and black prop o...

Re: Business configuration (STC 62-002)

So got word today from Premier that my delivery, currently scheduled for this September, will be the first one with the 6 place seating! Plane is being built in Austria. So we shall wait and see if there are any issues that develop!

Re: Potential Causes for Coolant Leak inflight

Finally got the plane back from maintenance and the main culprit was a leaking o-ring at the bottom of the thermostat housing that goes into the engine block. The thermostat was replaced and all is good. There was a also a loose pressure relief valve that leaking coolant as well that was tightened b...

Re: Delivery Delayed by 1 year

The overlap of the DA50 and, I'm assuming, high margins of the MPP, are pushing regular 62 deliveries to the right. Mine has slipped about 6 months from Q1'24 to, hopefully, early Q3'24.
