Re: Insurance

It would actually be nice for someone to say that they do have Basic Med insurance for a DA62 and with what company and broker. Do not buy a DA62 and look for insurance afterwards. BIG mistake! We looked for insurance for over a month. We were quoted $17,500 but Basic Med was not acceptable. Then, f...

Insurance

Can someone please suggest the insurance company / agent you have your DA62 with? We have over 1000 hours each high performance single engine and we will have over 10 hours each ME at time of purchase.

Re: DA 42/62 Training

Thank you also, CFI Dave for taking the time to answer our questions.

Since we're seriously considering a DA62, we thought to get our ratings first and to see if we really like the plane. Central Florida is best for us, but we'll consider South Caro...

Looking to purchase DA62

Hello all, In the past, we have had 2 different DA40s, a Colombia 400 and now a Cirrus SR22T. We're really interested in a DA62. We even test flew one in Austria over a month ago. However, checking with our maintenance center, we hear horrendous maintenance experiences regarding down time, parts ava...
