Re: For Sale: 2023 DA62
King Air? BTW, which Oregon aero seat cushions did you get for which seats? More updates to follow on what I'm trying to acquire! I purchased the SoftSeat Cushion Base/Lumbar Combo with the pilot cutout for pilot and copilot seats. I got one with the 1" cushion and another with the 2". Th...

For Sale: 2023 DA62
I'm moving up to a twin turboprop and am selling our DA62 that we've enjoyed for the last 10 months. Only 145 hours and in like-new condition. In fact, I would say it is in better than new condition after having gotten several of the factory bugs worked out. Premier doesn't have the price listed, bu...

Re: Lead time for parts
I was quoted 6 weeks for an aux fuel transfer pump. That was about 6 weeks ago and hoping it will be in soon. Took about 6 weeks for a replacement trim switch to come in, and about the same time for a replacement GPS antenna. Seems like everything takes about 6 weeks

Re: Time for TKS to Coat Wings
Low pressure warning lights and about 5 mins before total coverage of the wings. I’ll turn it on well in advance of icing so everything is primed and ready when needed.

Thank you for the update, Jeff! Should be bringing mine down to Premier soon to get this work done.

Re: Aux Pump failed?
The PFD annunciation was coming on when the aux pump was switched on but no fuel was transferred. How were you able to tell there was an issue? Just observing fuel gauges not changing? Yes. No change in fuel levels of aux tank or main tank while running the pump. And on the ground after landing, th...

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll reach out to my service center tomorrow and see if I can get a new pump on the way.

Re: BestTugs B5 vs B8 for DA62
Best Tugs told me that the B5 wasn’t long enough to clear the nose and recommended the B8 which I ended up purchasing. From the picture posted above, it seems like the B5 is plenty long. The B8 has been great, but if the B5 is long enough then that would probably be the best option unless larger pla...

Aux Pump failed?
Flew our DA62 to Gatlinburg today and found that my left aux pump wasn’t transferring fuel from the aux tank to the main tank. The PFD annunciation was coming on when the aux pump was switched on but no fuel was transferred. Thankfully, between the main tanks, right aux tank and cross feed, I had ac...

Re: Cabin heat
I’m interested to hear the responses from others. We’ve had our DA-62 for about 6 months. I recently used the cabin heat for the first time and while the air was warm, the volume of air seemed insufficient to do any substantial heating. However, the defroster puts out so much hot air that it’s proba...
