Re: Avidyne TAS/FLARM anyone?
Here ya go. Is that the avidyne or flarm antenna? Do you also have bottom antenna? How is the field of view/reception, any problems? It also comes with a bottom antenna, ours is placed slightly behind the transponder and DME antennas. Looks a bit different due to the interrogator: https://www.avidy...

Re: G1000 NXi Phase III
I'm guessing that moving the SR airframe to the G3000 is a precursor to Cirrus introducing autoland on the SR22, since the Vision Jet, Piper M600, and TBM 960 with autoland all use the G3000. That would be interesting! Also means G8 should come with autothrottle, possibly fadec for the mixture cont...

Re: Standby instruments
Sorry, I cannot answer the question, but I recently flew on an FNTP II simulator and had a total electrical failure. After turning the emergency switch on, the standby instruments took ~15 seconds to 'boot'. One can claim that this is an improbable scenario as you usually have a main battery for a w...

Re: XLS or NG?
for example if the pilot accidentally switched off the engine master instead of the electric fuel pump (it's happened). I rather wonder what happens after the electric master goes off. If my understanding is correct the engine continues to run till you don't turn it back on. Then the ECUs recycle, ...
