I stick to 65 kts until over the threshold unless I'm doing a short field landing, then it's 55.

I train at that school.. saw the plane in the hangar after. It was a nut/pin. It fractured and fell off. It's not visible during preflight. All I can do I guess is keep working on my soft field landing techniques!!

That's what I struggle with.. knowing when I'm a few feet off the ground. I'm so focused in front I forget to look out the side.
