I recently just got a new rotax 912s3. My rotax heavy mechanic recommended “dexcool” compliant coolant. It comes in different brands and is found in auto parts stores.

Re: Replacing original Rotax-912F with a new engine
I had to get a new tach for my Rotax 912 S3 100HP. It had a wiring harness that came it as well. I had a 20 year old engine and was not compatiable with the new tach signal from the engine. Do you know if you have an analog or digital tach?

My mechanic found that the flapper on the cabin heat was all stuck and not closing well. It was doing this with the cabin heat level closed. Mark this issue closed.

Re: Garmin Avionics Install
Looks like an awesome setup. Could you post your opinion on my you went with the gtn650 instead of the cheaper Garmin units? Also why you picked the G5 instead of the 275 or s30??
Thanks
Kris
