Hey there, the two radiator dampers on my da20a1 are cracked and I need replacements but the parts manual number doesn't have any results. Has anyone on here had to replace theirs?

John, the one they provided me was a factory refurb, and I'm fairly certain that's what they will do with the old one I'm mailing back. Seems like all they reuse is the flange and the mounting plate as the rest of it looked brand new. It also came with the FAA cert tied to it which was apparently ...

UPDATE: I found a replacement at Acorn Welding in Canada. Very nice folks working there. For anyone else that has this problem they charge you a core fee but refund it when you send them your broken part.

Hello everyone, one of my exhaust risers for my diamond da20 a1 broke and I desperately need a replacement to get back in the air. Its the left rear riser PN 20-7800-01-03, or the entire exhaust will work haha. Please let me know if you have any leads.

It is not commercial use, and the engine is in great shape but I'd like to be prepared regardless. I intend to use it for a while so the odds of me overhauling it are pretty high.

Hey everyone! new DA20-A1 owner here! My engine is close to TBO and I was just wondering if anyone has recent experiance on how mych an overhaul costs for one of these puppies and how long I should expect the plane to be grounded.
