Re: Another fatal DA2 crash
Horrible. My thoughts go out to the families. As Dave says, it looks like a flat crash attitude. Moreover, it may have been with no forward speed because -if I'm not mistaken- these metal posts behind the wings are from the vines, and they seem have not even be touched, nor the terrain behind the ai...

Air taxi with DA42 in North America?

Re: Centurion 2.0S Engine
Is the core deposit refund of GBP 7.000 already included in the mentioned prices of the engines or still to be subtracted?

Re: Need new Centurion engines... 2.0 or 2.0s?
here you go: Part-M-Light Delayed During the recent GA Sectorial Team meeting EASA gave an update on the progress of Part-M-Light, the new maintenance regulation for aircraft below 2730kg which holds a lot of promise to simplify maintenance of GA aircraft. EASA published its opinion back in 2016 and...

Re: Need new Centurion engines... 2.0 or 2.0s?
This has recently been announced, which is a shame because it would have meant that you would at least have had the choice to continue to fly with your existing 2.0 engines 'on-condition'. Have a look at post 18 and 25 for some performance data of the 2.0S engine: https://www.euroga.org/forums/maint...

Re: DA42-VI vs DA62 Performance
Very nice Dave..
Good to see some traction of the DA62 in North America. Maybe you could keep us posted on the sales numbers if company policy allows you?

Re: fuel flow discrepancy
Mike, That confuses me.. See my above table. If you see 5.8 on the display, and the actual FF as per the book is 6.2 at 80% (which is known to be an accurate value) than there should be a significant difference between what the totaliser says and what would actually be in your tank after a flight. T...

Re: Color Me Blue
Just to make sure, I guess it won't harm to ask the TKS system manufacturer.
But really I would not worry too much whether the system really squirts out fuel everywhere, PROVIDED you prime it every month.

Re: fuel flow discrepancy
That's a lot closer to what the book says (5.7) than my reading (5.4)..
