I've used a DSC for issues specific to Diamonds such as the Major Structural Inspection and the bonding system inspection, and any repairs necessary as a result. I also like a different set of eyes on my aircraft so I do annuals with Dillon's every 3-4 years.

I've been happy with Dillon's Aviation in Greenville, North Carolina -- https://www.dillonsaviation.com/ I go to them from Virginia for specialized Diamond work. They run a flight school full of Diamonds so lots of experience.

Paul- Thanks for getting Diamond to give us that clarification. My 2003 DA40-180 was originally certified at 2535lb but subsequently modified with the new landing gear and elevator restriction to increase the MTOW. I only have the labor cost, but it translates to around 10 hours. As I recall, it didn't work well at first so part of that was checking and correcting work, some, but not all of which was charged. My Surefly as a replacement of the right mag.

His advice was to always check the Notams then modify the MDA or DA via the Custom button at the bottom of the section for selecting the type of approach.
