Re: Turning on and Off GTX-345R Bluetooth with G1000

The issue is that Bluetooth is not turned on and we need it to be on before we can control from Garmin Pilot. Any idea on who to toggle Bluetooth on and off from the G1000?

Turning on and Off GTX-345R Bluetooth with G1000

Quick question for those of you who have installed the GTX-345R with a G1000. I am unable to see in any of the manuals how you turn on and off Bluetooth or flush out the cache of prior connected devices. I am flying a plane with a panel mounted GTX-345 and there you can do these functions on the pan...

Re: Avgas replacement news

The price listed on the website for the STC is wrong. It is based on HP and they list the Diamond DA40 as 200 HP instead of the 180 HP which $540.

Re: DA40 24volt outlet

Case in point. My partner was flying our 2011 DA40-XLS in IMC with his CFI. The flew down to DCA and back and where using their iPads for approach plates and to supplement the G1000. About 50 miles from home the radios in the plane became barely usable due to intense scratching noise in their headse...

Re: 2011 DA40-XLS sold looking to move into a DA20

Have an accepted offer on a 2003 Grumman Tiger that is in pre-buy inspection right now. The seller also owned a DA40 prior to the Tiger. Many similarities and many differences between the two planes.

Re: Next Generation G1000

Now that Diamond have announced the NXi for the DA40NG, DA42NG and VI, the DA62 with the rumor that the XLT will be supported soon. I wonder if Diamond/Garmin will offer upgrades to existing G1000's and if that will include the non-WAAS versions of the G1000.

2011 DA40-XLS sold looking to move into a DA20

Sold our 2011 DA40-XLS in December 2016 as one of my two partners decided to move up to a SR22 partnership. With the flying season staring again in Match my remaining partner and I are seriously considering a DA20 as an alternative. Would greatly appreciate any advice on what to look for and what to...
