Re: Garmin G5 installed

Re: VM1000 fuel totalizer

Rich- I have the same problem as John. I've searched the internet for the VM1000 installation manual but have not found a copy. Can you post a link or just Section 2.6? Thanks. Bernie

See https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all-news/2018/july/flight-training-magazine/how-it-works-engine-baffles However, I suspect that since most aircraft never need the rigid parts replaced, Americ...

Re: My ADS-B install

On newer ADSB out units, e.g., the GTX-345, this is easily done. Re: My ADS-B install

Steve- Given your setup with the USB connector accessible, would it be practical to change the tail number for, e.g., an Angel Flight, then change it back to your tail number? If so, is the GDL 8X install tool available on line? I'm looking for a way to change the tail number in my GDL-84 for this p...

Re: What tug to get?

Jeremy- My DA40 used to live in one of the north condo hangers at JYO. I used (and still use) a Minimax Tug -- https://www.flyboyaccessories.com/product-p/7107.htm

MSB for 2017-19 fuel tank connection hoses

Anyone with a DA40 who had their fuel tank connection hoses replaced recently might want to look at this new MSB. Apparently Diamond will "credit" you for parts and labor. http://support.diamond-air.at/fileadmin/uploads/files/after_sales_support/DA40-180/Service_Bulletins/SB40-087-M-1-Replacement-of...
