Re: The next stuff

Dynon has expanded the number of aircraft for their SkyView HDX PFD but unfortunately Diamonds are still not on it. See http://www.dynoncertified.com/

Re: S-Tec 3100 autopilot STC for the DA40

I've been following Genesys' attempt to integrate the G1000 and the STEC 3100 for Mooney aircraft that have a G1000/STEC 55x setup. It's not very encouraging -- see https://mooneyspace.com/topic/30614-ste ... situation/

Re: CHT again

Almost always run 65% , 2300rpm and 7.8-7.9gph LOP in cruise, with 21.5-23 inches MP, depending on altitude. The 65% is derived from the LOP formula of 14.9 times the fuel flow divided by the horsepower (180). TAS is 133-137kt.

They alternate as to the next hottest cylinder after #1 but in gene...

Re: CHT again

I've tried everything recommended on this board to get the #1 CHT down -- Arizona baffle, sealing all holes, silicone on the wavy part of the soft top baffles, tightening the lower part of the hard baffle with the wire between the front and back etc. None have produced any dramatic reductions, altho...

Re: Aircraft grounding

The object in my picture has been established as the OAT. My 2003 aircraft doesn't have the grounding strip so I ordered a couple from Premier. Got them this week and will have them installed next time it's in the shop. Thanks to all for the clarification.
