Also, check the elevator trim tab "friction damper" rod for cleanliness and proper friction setting: https://www.diamondaviators.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3489&p=68596&hilit=elevator+trim+tab#p68596 Steve This might be hard to quantify but how fast does your electric stab ...

Re: Diamond DA40 pricing

I just bought a 2004, G1000, 600hrs, descent shape, ADSB for 190.5K. The newer ones were way above the 200K mark. Tried to buy a steam gauge version but it just never worked out.. Those seemed to be priced in the 135-165K range, depending on engine hours

Re: 2003 DA40 - key blank

Just out of curiosity... Why would you lock your fuel caps? Seems like a lot of trouble to go through, considering most airports have cameras everywhere nowadays

Re: My ADS-B install

Interesting.. I have a DA-20 and had a GDL-82 installed as well but did not have to add an antenna The other possibility is that you are driving a non-WAAS GPS and your GDL-82 from a single GPS antenna through a splitter. My avionics guy said that this was a possible way to avoid installing an addi...
