I’m not in the market for a DA62 but seems like Diamond Aircraft has enough business for their production capabilities and understands the finances around that.

Seems like they have enough people willing to pay 1.5 million for their product to keep them busy for a couple of years.

The answer seems to be “yes”, with the anecdotal data points on this forum. The ECU problems and loss of power stories are troubling to read about.

I would love to see your NG vs XLT comparison. Many things to like about the NG but the operating costs over time are more than the XLT. The cheaper JetA doesn’t compensate for that. I came to a different conclusion but like to hear other’s thoughts.

My range knob on the PFD seems to cause random changes to the map inset range instead of the predictable increments. I’m not sure if changing the knob will fix this but I might try. How did you remove and replace that particular knob since it has the push cursor joystick control as well?

Are the G1000 software upgrades listed for all the DA40 installs?

Satellite weather is better at most things. The G1000 version I have displays more information from satellite weather than from FIS-B weather.

No. The NTSB site had a monthly list with links to preliminary or final reports. It was easy to scroll through. I can’t find it after the website change and switch to the CAROL tool.

I don’t see the monthly lists I used to look through.
