I have not found any noticeable increase in oil consumption at 85 RPM Russ.

Personally, I find 85 RPM the sweet spot between fuel consumption and overhaul hours.

I maintain the oil level half way between min and max on the DA62 as anything above halfway invariably just consumes away. This has also been confirmed by my service engineer.

Yes, Russ picture shows the Diamond shade and clips.

The clips are affixed to the inside glass and the shades fit into the clips.

My compass is swung by DAI Germany during annual maintenance, so I am surprised this is not carried out routinely by others.

I have the factory installed shades on my DA62 and they are attached via clips which are fixed to the inside windows. Occasionally, one comes loose but, in general, they do the job nicely and protects the passengers from the sun when flying above the clouds.

Interestingly, the DA62 adaptors are different. I purchased an additional set from TowFLEXX and carry them with me just in case.

I always use the electronic check lists Chris. As you say, it takes a bit of effort to start with but, thereafter, you appreciate just how useful they are and, having to physically check the box ensures you do not skip a check.
