Re: The Pipistrel Panthera looks like a DA40 copy
Hey guys, Well Pipistrel is making a plane that gets 148 kts on 100 HP, so "all" they need is another 50 kts (and the extra load) out the second hundred horse power. They claimed all along they would do the 148 kts on the Virus SW, and that is what it does. I imagine they have models at le...

Re: Looking for advice on buying a DA-20
Justin, I know what you are saying. I have been renting, and trying to figure out a way to make a small group work. The only thing I can see so far is find people who are willing to effectively split the costs, including purchase and maintenance. The breakeven point in terms of hours flown per year ...

New England Fall
Hi folks, My better half has expressed interest in flying to New England this fall to see "real fall colors." We live in Colorado, and while the aspen are very pretty, she misses the New England colors. We had hoped to fly to Devils Tower today, but alas it is snow all the way to the Wyomi...

Re: 24 Volt Power Adapters
Hey all, I rent a DA-20, so cannot do something permanent as you are talking about. I went with one of the newer 10,000 mAh battery packs. They are very small, and basically will keep my ipad or phone running for longer than I can fly in a day. There are a bunch of them out there, here is the one I ...

How about the weekend of the 23rd? We may fly out on Saturday, and back on Sunday. It is about 3 hours for me one way. Let me know!

Re: Diamond US Flyin - Reoccuring
Hey guys,
Would anyone be interested in going over to Hutchinson Kansas (KHUT)? The Kansas Cosmodrome is there (why I am not sure). It is supposedly the largest collection of Soviet era spacecraft on display outside of Moscow. Let me know if interested.
cheers
