Trip to Outback South Australia
Hello Jane and I have just returned from a 4 day long weekend. We went to William Creek - Outback South Australia, which is 689 nm miles DCT from our home base. The aim of the trip was to visit Jane's son, who started work as a commercial pilot there. He is doing scenic flights over Lake Eyre and th...

Re: Hot starts
My stepson got checked out recently on the Cessna 207/210. For his check flight the first thing the chief pilot did was to flood the engine. She said that if you ever get stuck, flood the engine and do a flooded start. These are continental engines, not sure if that makes a difference. He is working...

Re: Flying Videos
After the cloud surfing...the lower clouds cleared so I was given a visual approach into Albury, RWY 07. Note the QantasLink Dash 8-300 holding at Echo RWY 07.

Re: Flying Videos
Hello Finally now that I am having a break from study, I have had a chance to do another video. Did a clinic trip to Albury today. This would be a 3 hour 42 minute drive according to Google maps. Flight time was 79 minutes with a 15 knot headwind and some vectoring around Melbourne International air...

Re: Another DA42-VI
Hi Eric
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your new plane! I have to say it looks a lot better than when I last saw it.
I am hoping to finalise a deal with the flying school this week so that I can do the deal on the DA 42.
Safe flying.
Robin

Re: One-four-zero knots
Hi Antoine Can we highlight these flights in the report section as well? Or perhaps we can record the report section number. This way we can cross reference the other data eg altitude and OAT. Flying tomorrow and it's going to be 43 degrees Celsius. I will try the 140 TAS and WOT. I am very interest...
