If you have firmware 321.21 (I think that is) or later 8GB cards work. Both 4 & 8 are getting hard to purchase.

Re: iPad in DA40

This might do the same thing. These are very nice mounts.

Todd, that unit says "non-wheel-pant" on their website. So did you remove the nose wheel pant?

Re: Looking for Service Center in PNW

I had my MTOW/MLW (included conversion to the thinner gear) done at what was then Professional Air, now Leading Edge, at Bend. They did it fine, BUT the conversion required a re-weighing of the airplane and they bungled that. I had to have the re-weigh redone. Did that include fiberglassing-in a do...

Looking for Service Center in PNW

I'm looking for a pirep and or recommendation for a Service Center or at least a shop who is DA40 savy in the PNW. I'll be changing to the tall landing gear and my regular shop at KVUO declined to do it.
I'm based in the Vancouver, WA area.
Thanks.

Thanks Steve just what I was suspecting. Also Tech looked at my pics and said they seem to be bent and the upgrade should be done. That has made my decision easier. It's pricey upgrade/repair.

Re: PIREP on DA40 Supercharged Performance

This is really useful -- thank you. What do you think the EIS contributes to the numbers, if anything? The original test plane has the Electroair EIS. That being said, you might ask Electroair about the timing advance map. I suspect that above 24" there is no advance above the Mag. So the adva...

"taller" Landing gear

This is similar to the bent landing gear thread [ https://www.diamondaviators.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6692 ] since it seems my gear has plenty of bow to them. However the 'fix' I am interested in is to install the taller landing gear via OSB-40-059. Has anyone converted their DA40 to the t...

Re: Going to OSHkosh 2019???

Makes me wonder if perhaps they have an STC or something going on with the FAA and were hoping to get the green light by Oshkosh. But didn't.
