As with all these matters it depends on your mission and where you are flying as to whether WAAS makes sense to invest in. My first DA40 had WAAS and it was great, but there were plenty of ILS approaches around as well as RNAV. The DA40 I have now does not have WAAS, and I would never invest in the ...

What is the general guidance for when to do a prop overhaul? We are now at the stage where it is advised, but there are no issues, so how long should one leave this... or just get it done? Appreciate comments and advice.

Steven, for what's its worth, when I lived in Tampa I never installed the winter kit. Just does not get cold enough. I would not use it.
