Re: Good news and bad news at S39
Good post! About three and a half years ago, following a change in the CTAF at Carroll County, Georgia there was a midair collision in which a Bonanza collided with a DA20 that was on a training flight. It was ultimately determined that while the DA20, in which an instructor and student were killed,...

Re: Garmin refuses to service GIA63W LRUs
Colin, as an attorney I have often told clients that when they do not wish to do something, that they are free to blame me, the lawyer. On the other hand, the lawyers do not really have the same stake in the profitability of a company that management and marketing do, and most lawyers at large corpo...

Re: Oil temperature
What is the winterization kit? I don’t think I have one. My Piper Warrior used to have a metal plate that covered part of the intake, so I’m guessing it’s something similar.

Re: The G1000 project - "The next step
As a (very) long time pilot, engineer, attorney, and owner of an affected non-WAAS 2005 DA40 who personally knows many in the Diamond organization, and who has been denied service by Garmin, despite my willingness to pay, I would, very much, like to attend such a meeting.

KAP140 / WAAS Navigator
Does anyone know how many non-WAAS DA40, DA42, and DA62s there are that have a KAP140 but no GIA63W?

Thanks for that info. The “Outbox” is really an “Unread” box.

TJS,
I tried to reply, but for some reason when I send PMs they are getting “stuck” in my Outbox.
As everyone I’ve met who is involved in aviation already has my contact information, it’s set out below. Feel free to call or email me.
