Precise flight O2 regulator
(I have posted this again in this topic, as I am unsure if everyone subscribes to the 42 section.) I have an X3 on demand regulator from precise flight. Used it in my cirrus 22T. It uses much less oxygen than free flow. Does anyone use this in the Diamond/42? With the built in system what adapter do...

Oxygen and precise flight on demand regulator
I have an X3 on demand regulator from precise flight. Used it in my cirrus 22T. It uses much less oxygen than free flow. Does anyone use this in the 42? With the built in system what adapter does the system use?

Re: Transitioning to DA42 questions
I am waiting on my 42-VI arriving hopefully in the next couple of months. I have been reading up everything I can get my hands on and came across this in my searches. Seems to be from Diamond. I found it very useful. http://www.marcus.aero/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Diamond-DA42-NG-Systems_Handouts_...

Re: G1000 NXi Differences
Here is the answer from the Diamond rep in Australia, so hopefully given that Cirrus has it all certified, Diamond will be able to do so as well. With regards the capability of the Garmin G1000 NXi: * Visual Approach and Surface Watch are not yet certified with the NXi installation, Diamond are stil...

Did you ask Diamond why they aren't included in this setup?

Re: G1000 NXi Differences
In the Garmin Pilot Guide for NXi on page 206 a visual approach "visual 13" seems to be one of the options:

Re: G1000 NXi Differences
Knowing Garmin, and how they charge for everything, this wouldn't surprise me, but I agree these are the biggest leap forward from G1000 and a mistake to leave them out. I have emailed my sales guy to ask if they are available. I'll let you know what he says.

Re: G1000 NXi Differences
Dave, thanks for the write up. My 42VI will have NXi. Was any reason given by Diamond as to why the visual approaches and Surface watch are not in this release, as it does appear they are in the King Air and Cirrus versions? I was very surprised that the electronic checklists weren't available. Sure...

Re: Tug for 42-VI
Have been in touch with Redline, and what great customer service: quick reply. Will ship to Australia, even have a 240V charger option available. Order going in on Monday.

Re: Tug for 42-VI
Thanks All
The Sidewinder from Redline looks great and I like that you can take it with you, as I do go into fields quite a bit and sometimes may need to move the plane when not under power.
I have sent an email to Redline as to whether they ship to Australia. Fingers crossed.
Cheers
