I'm not sure if they are still working, but this other thread has some links.

Re: Rocky Mountain Airport pre-buy. Need a mechanic
If it is possible/feasible, does anyone have an opinion about having the two mechanics do the inspections TOGETHER? I kinda like the idea. I had my pre-buy done by an independent mechanic while the plane was in for an annual inspection at its normal service center. Seemed to work well in that insta...

Re: Potential Causes for Coolant Leak inflight
There are a few other threads related to coolant leaks with these engines. Here's one of them.
The more common problems seem to be related to the pressure relief valves or air in the system. Your symptoms seem a bit more serious to me.

Re: Accelerated IFR training in DA40 - recommendations?
I think a "finish-up" program might be a good approach. My free advice (worth every penny you paid for it) would be something like: Early in the process, fly at least 10 hours under the hood with a safety pilot to dial in your instrument scan and your ability to climb, descend, and maintai...

Re: DA40NG N907L forced landing on a highway
Great to hear that both occupants were able to get out without serious injuries! Some quotes from a news article : "Plane is on the ground and the two passengers made it out before it caught on fire," the tower said. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the plane hit power...

Re: DA40NG N907L forced landing on a highway
I listed to some of the ATC audio and at one point he said he "got the engine restarted" followed by "just heard a big bang so we may lose it again". I think they mentioned getting "about half power" and "some smoke" after that. Nearby areas reported power out...

You should be able to format the SD card as FAT32 using the Mac. Open the Disk Utility app, choose the SD card from the "External" list on the left hand side, select "Erase", and choose "MS-DOS (FAT)" from the format menu. Of course, you'll have to re-install all of the...

Re: DA62 USB Ports
I would be pleasantly surprised to learn that they support the PD spec. Most of the after-market ones I've seen are 15W (5V @ 3A). I'd love to get 25W or more.

Re: Preflight Test - RED "PFT" G1000 NXI
Could be any number of things, but I had a flaky pilot's side AP disconnect switch that I think caused similar behavior.
