Re: Interested in a Powered LEMO Adapter?

Has anyone tried your adapter in a DA42? I have a 2007 DA42Tdi converted to NG, and (I thought to be future proof) I bought Bose A20s with Bluetooth and Lemo connectors, and also bought some duel plug to Lemo adapter cords. Unfortunately those have molded connectors so I can't just open them to try...

Re: Flying with Dogs

Anthony, if your dog(s) like riding in the car, then 95%+ probable they'll also like riding in your aircraft. We've flown our DA40 across the US with our 3 greyhounds, and transported 100+ PilotsNPaws dogs... once the engine starts the vast majority chill out and go to sleep. If they will tolerate i...

ForeFlight & Garmin Pilot: Part 5 - Apples-to-Apples - Pre-Flight Santa Monica to Phoenix Gateway

ReLVd8cpcE0 In previous episodes of this series, Jan and I were primarily in-the-air flying the aircraft… and therefore our side-by-side comparisons of ForeFlight and Garmin Pilot were somewhat limited by the practicalities of aviating safely. In this Part 5, we conduct a more controlled apples-to-...

Re: Interested in a Powered LEMO Adapter?

Wayne, I would be interested in purchasing two for sure. Just to confirm @waynemcc999, your adapter takes the power already present at the female receptacles in a Diamond. I assume this is the mic power used to run the condenser microphone. There are a few small headphones out there that pick up th...

Re: Interested in a Powered LEMO Adapter?

Quick update: I checked out today the latest prototype... all works nicely with the Bose A20 LEMO. We'll try the adapter next week with the Lightspeed Zulu and report back. Steve should then be able to select a vendor for a first run of production adapters. I'll continue to update. Thanks for your i...

Planning a VFR Cross Country in ForeFlight

_l2zHmdTn8E My good friend Craig is in the midst of his flight training and has paid his dues by planning cross countries on paper... so it's time for him to learn modern cross country planning! I'm motivating Craig to plan his first big post-PPL cross country, maybe to Santa Fe. In this short vide...

Re: Interested in a Powered LEMO Adapter?

We'll keep everyone updated (likely via this thread) as Steve works this with the potential suppliers, who BTW have been quite responsive (one of the suppliers even made a semi-production mockup for our testing).
