As soon as work and weather allow me some time I will try these.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Re: AHRS / Heading Indicator Gremlin
I have had no luck resolving my heading issue, even with another trip down to Premier in Ft Lauderdale. I did talk to George Koulsch at Garmin and he said for $1400 he would replace both my mag and AHRS. I am just not convinced that spending the money will resolve my problem. My problem is intermitt...

Re: Bendix dragging
Premier rebuilt the plane and it has been back there twice so far and once over to Glenn Lawler, with no cure.So my thought is that only two remaining possible causes would be the contractor or the gear backlash. Unfortunately our weather here will delay future diagnosis for a few days.

Bendix dragging
I purchased a rebuilt DA40 last December that has starter issues. I usually blip the throttle to get the Bendix drive to disengage. We have tried 2 starters, changed out the bull gear twice and this weekend we changed out the ignition switch. I am at a loss as to where to go next, any advice or past...

Canopy key matching ignition
My DA40 has been dragging the starter when firing up. We have changed out both the starter and bull gear with no improvement with disengaging the Bendix drive. I just received a replacement ignition switch as I am hoping that maybe the return spring is weak on the current switch. I am looking for ad...

We flew a pair of 40's in from KILM, the air boss was awesome the way she orchestrated the chaos.

VOR Antenna Location
Today I was doing a ground VOR check and the I was told to ensure that the VOR antenna was placed inside of a 5' circle on the taxiway. Any idea where the antenna is located with the DA40?
Thanks,

Re: Ram Mount Sun Visor
Today I heard from Ram that due to tooling issues they cannot provide an updated delivery date for their new visor system.

Re: Instrument Rating Written Test
I just passed my IRA written two weeks ago. I struggled to stay focused with the Sporty's videos and Shepards and finally took a weekend test prep class. The test was 60 manditary questions and one optional. This is a computer test with a column on the left of the page tracking questions that you ha...
