Re: can you increase speed to 210 KIAS for the next 2 minutes?
Hi Antoine, just got back from the Aerostar factory myself a couple of weeks ago. I actually had a chance to fly the jet. 4,000’ a minute climb with 241 ias at 15,000 msl and it wasn’t even breathing hard. It’s really not even like flying an airplane. Very quite and so ridiculously smooth. Lots of e...

Aerostar. Yeah, I wouldn’t doubt it. They were really trying to cram everybody in quickly.

Re: can you increase speed to 210 KIAS for the next 2 minutes?
Hey Antoine. How’s it going? I had a similar experience going into Chicago Exec. (KPWK.) ATC wanted to know if I could keep my speed up (184 ias) for a visual approach No.1 into runway 34 in front of an Embraer. No problem I told ATC. It was somewhat of a nail biter going that fast so close to KPWK....

I also tend to trust people more often than I should and I still do. I’ve just been down this road way to many times. It never changes. It is what it is. I accept it and move on.

It is what it is gentlemen. At some point in this discussion you must accept the reality of the situation and move on. Diamond is not going to change. You have plenty of Diamond’s behavioral history to support this. The wall is not going to move the more you bang your head against it. You’re just g...

Re: Folding Electric Bikes
My wife and I have Brompton’s. They are truly incredible bikes. Way to many positive attributes to get into here. They are the only foldable I would ever consider. But, why would anyone want a self propelled portable? It kind of goes against the whole point of having a portable fold up bike.

Re: DA62 down in Dubai
Question: How does it take four people to calibrate navigational aids in a DA 62 and what instruments would those be?
Emir, what risks should ATC have been aware of? Are you implying that ATC bares some responsibility for the crash?
