My new DA42-V1 has a shorter range and hauls fewer lbs of people and cargo … useful load of 1,165 lbs (528 kg) in the DA42.

DA62 is logical choice assuming you can take capital cost difference. Of course the insurance will be a bit higher, due to higher hull value but it seems that it's less an issue than in the US.
