Emergency Battery Pack Location

I have a 2005 DA40-180 - I know it's behind the panel, but where? Is there an easy way to get to it?

Re: The next stuff

For me it was a no brainer. I am do for Mag overhauls in 47 hrs. I have a friend who installed one in his Super Cub and said it works well and he has seen slightly less fuel consumption. He is using the Advanced timing feature.

Re: The next stuff

I to thought I ran out of upgrades but decided to go with SureFly electronic ignition and replace my left Mag. Lycoming just announced their own private labeled version (also from Surefly). That will be one less Mag I have to overhaul. Benefit is faster starts and less fuel consumption.
