What? You guys don't show up and now expect us to provide you with pics? Look Max, the wx was fine for a transatlantic crossing last weekend, so no excuses please 
I travelled light, with just my swimming gear and did not bring my camera. But several others did, and the local Aeroclub folks were shooting like paparazzi, so you'll be served. Just be patient you guys.. Jean, Thomas, Konrad, anything you can post to keep these guys happy for now?
DA42 VI: Dries' plane has all the options, as you would expect. Wx radar and all. Plus new upholstery, for those of you who like softer seats an improvement no doubt.

Actually Christian Dries' plane doesn't have all the options -- in particular it doesn't have the major option of air conditioning, which our DA42-VI has. When I was visiting the Wiener Neustadt factory I got into an interesting discussion with Christian about air conditioning while we were both walking around looking at my new aircraft. I'm not sure he appreciates how important air conditioning is for those of us who live and fly on the other side of the pond -- nonetheless I'm grateful that Diamond chose to make it available as an option.Aart wrote:DA42 VI: Dries' plane has all the options, as you would expect. You can see a photo I took of his plane's new "Premium" (which replaces "Platinum") interior shown at the beginning of my DA42-VI ferry flight thread: http://www.diamondaviators.net/forum/da ... t4438.html. These same new seats are now installed in our plane.
From the photos it sure looks like you guys had beautiful weather for the fly-in.

Henrik, it would indeed be nice if you could join in next year. Would you actually take your plane all the way from SG?
If not, maybe fly commercial and join either Bo or me from Mallorca to Corsica?
