New to the Forum
... just want to say 'Hello' to everybody here. I am new here in the Forum, but having been a silent reader for the last weeks already. I am 43 years old, living in Germany, flying my 2nd DA40 (a Star first, a XLS for about one year now). Holding a PPL+IFR my plans are more on the DA42NG now, but this is the future and requires some more days of planning and thinking.
Looking forward to discuss intersting topics with you guys here as well as sharing experiences and all that stuff.
Cheers
Ingo

Welcome to the forum, Ingo! As I am sure you already know, you will find a number of other members here who have already made the DA40-to-DA42 transition, and many other DA42-wannabes. :-D
We're all looking forward to hearing more from you in the future. Welcome aboard!

Re: New to the Forum
Welcome,
I'm a few years off from being able to swing a 42 but would also love to own one. Happy posting.

Re: New to the Forum
Welcome to the forum Ingo!
Like you I fly a DA40 XLS, but became interested in the 42. Placed an order for a new -vi just last week.
Cant't wait to make the switch!
Again, welcome aboard and look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Re: New to the Forum
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Is there any way to find out who is from Europe here in the Forum? I have seen the plannings for the Belgium Fly-In, unfortunately I will be in the US that time, but maybe there are some other activities to meet fellow Diamond'ers here around.

Ingo,
You should select the WORLD page at the top of the screen. You will find DAN members on a map.

Re: New to the Forum
... unfortunately yes, but I followed the postings of course. I am really interested in any 'Fly In', meeting with other DA-aviators. This is a lot of fun of course, even though Menorca is not just 'around the corner'.Thomas wrote:Tschau Ingo,

Any other meetings planned so far?
Cheers Ingo
