Beautiful 4.4 hour flight from KFAY (Fayetteville, NC) to KFMY last week. The fires in the Okefenokee swamp caused poor visibility across southern Georgia and northern Florida but at 6500 MSL it was below me. I was fortunate in that the Palakta MOA was quiet so I cut quite a few miles off the trip. Flying over the top of Disney was pretty cool.
The FBO at FMY is pretty nice and they'll be moving into a new building at the end of the summer which looks really nice on the drawings. Nice people, good fuel price. The hotel shuttle picked me up and brought me back the next day for my departure.

We all need to start taking photos of our trips and posting them here or in the gallery.

Stephen, especially when flying over Disney it would be cool to take some photos and share them here whenever possible.

Yes, I can tell this group would have been interested in those pics. I took the trip last week, but I didnt join this forum until a couple days ago .....and after the trip.
Also, I have not been in the habit of carrying a camera or taking aerial photos.......but I think I'll change that practice now.
