I made a short visit to the Salon du Bourget last sunday. No way to fly in, so I drove there, only 3h drive from Liège.
Very impressive display, mostly commercial and military oriented but Diamond was there and I took a few shots that I want to share with you.
Diamond is trying to to set a trend for for big noses ;)

Jean, these are interesting photos. I like the Tundra-wheeled Diamond. There was no chance to ask them what this Diamond is designed for?

Thank you also for alerting me on the copyright infringements. :D

I'd like a pair of those rock deflectors on the tundra version. Left my wheel pants off one winter and the loose mud etc took a toll on the underside of my wings. I figure it is cheaper to occasionally repair the wheel pants then to take them off in the winter and repair the wing.

I was at the '99 Paris Airshow and it was quite a spectacle. That was the year the experimental Su-31(?) with the vectoring thrust tailpipes did a tight loop and kissed the ground with his tailpipes, jammed them into the full up mode, then had a successful demonstration of the vertically seeking ejection seats. No one was hurt and everyone walked away. Watching a fighter do loops at 0 kts airspeed is just un-natural but amazing.
