Schofields flying club at YSBK- Bankstown have a DA 40 XLS.

There is an active army firing range, lots of unexploded bombs. Hope I do not have to make a forced landings there!

A fishing port, great sheltered bay. A popular summer holiday location.

A front was coming through, so we had a great tail wind. The wind was 340 to 030 degrees at 25 to 40 knots

I got a GS of 183 knots at one stage

The G1000 on the way upto Olympic Dam

We had to do a small dog leg to avoid the Woomera Restricted Area - WRX, hence to AMK - Anadamooka.

Is Woomera still in use? I remember it being used for missile testing way back when I was growing up in "good old Blighty"!
