You could try to organize this. I always drive as I am not into camping and it is only 4 hours from where I live.

Re: Oshkosh Wisconsin
Don't know if I can make it this year, but I'd sure like to. It would be great to arrive in a formation as a flight of 6 (or more!). There are some rules from the EAA about a big gaggle formation arrival, but it could be split into smaller groups which would actually help expedite the arrival. Contact the EAA for more info. If you could all arrive a day before in a feeder airport, then depart together to Oshkosh that would probably help for the organization.

I fly into KRYV (Watertown) and stay with some friends who drive (1:45) to OSH. KRYV is a nice airport with a Holiday Inn and many restraunts within walking distance. The drive is a bit of a pain but the scenery is beautiful.

My new employer has a big location in Hartford WI, so might head up there to do some business and maybe visit OSH for the first time

I didn't know that there was anything big in Hartford. I did some glider training at KHFX.Tim wrote:My new employer has a big location in Hartford WI, so might head up there to do some business and maybe visit OSH for the first time

Re: Oshkosh Wisconsin
There was a fairly large building we often flew over. I wonder if that was it.
