Frank, you were born in Portugal where people live outside. So we expect you to show up in that Boeing Stearman..

Franck

The Diamond dealer in Rome has N693DS still up for sale. I have seen it there and it had stickers of the local flying school so I assume it is in leaseback. With enough advance notice maybe they can rent it to you.

But renting would force you to return to where you started, further lengthening the trip duration. If that's ok with you, good, and we can certainly plan an alternate return leg. Being born here you know how many nice stopovers await us!

Otherwise I was thinking that each "local" that has adequate available payload shares their plane with a pleneless pilot/ couple.

I don't want to be speaking for all, but my guest will be welcome to fly the plane - and log the hours if they have at least a CPL, for insurance reaons.

Aart this is a Diamond fly in. If you like it breezy, the best we can do is accept a DA40 Speedster.
I know Diamond has produced a few dozen which do away with the rear door. very refreshing in the summer!

Antoine is right, they have a nice N Reg XLS. They might rent it (otherwise you buy it when you arrive and sell it when you leave :D )
