Roanoke Regional

Post by Moonshine » Mon Oct 07, 2013 3:39 pm

There's an off chance we might end up there tonight
Any suggestions on the FBO/hotel nearby etc?
Just buzzing around really
The WX Northeast sucks, so meanwhile flew out to KSYI for the company get together, enjoying GE99 and the surrounding areas, and doing a feasibility study of continuing NE for fall colors. Don't have to be back in FL till Wednesday eve

Hey, that's my home drome! The only FBO here is Landmark - they will treat you right, but charge you for the privilege... Fuel here is 'down' to $6.99/gal this week!

Max, I sent you a PM with some more info.

fuel price 7 $ gal ... just came back from Venice Italy(LIPV), 3 EUR litre for 100LL equals 12.3 $ gal
thats flying here in Europe.
But venice is a nice destination. (landing and parking fee 56$ for 2 days). Its unique, its Venice.

I'm a bit late on this one, but next time anyone's at ROA let me know as well! I'm a CFI at the Diamond training center here (http://www.smlaviation.com). I'd be happy to show you our hangar full of toys :)
