So, I scanned a couple of slides from my Moffett Field days. The first is a nighttime view of some of my Squadron's P3Cs parked in Hangar 2. Note the redwood truss construction. The second is during the Moffett Field 50th Anniversary Airshow. Yes, those are hot air balloons flying inside the Hangar One. Also note the buildings constructed inside the Hangar.
